Through a Virginia Department of Education state-approved teacher preparation program or an alternative licensure state approved program, educators can become eligible for licensure in the state of Virginia.
The Career Switcher Alternative Route to Licensure Program is designed to provide an option for career professionals to enter Virginia classrooms.
